At 3:37 pm Wednesday, Truck 57, Tanker 57 and Engine 574 were dispatched as part of the first alarm assignment on a building fire on Bell Rd. in Bart Township. Bart Township Fire Company Engine 51-2 arrived with a 100′ X 50′ implement barn fully involved.
Truck 57 arrived as the 2nd due truck and set up in a field off of the driveway to provide master stream operations. Tanker 57 assisted in the water supply, and Engine 574 was sent to a local pond to set up a tanker fill. QFD Fire Police and Squad 572 assisted with traffic control. QFD units operated in the 90+ degree heat for just over 2.5 hours.
