At 8:38 am Wednesday, QFD was alerted for a chimney fire on Wesley Road in Colerain Township. Engine 574 and Truck 57 responded and arrived with a fire in the chimney. After gaining access, the crew laddered the residence and extinguished the fire, checked for extension and used the chimney chains to drag the chimney. QFD Fire Police directed traffic on Wesley Road, and also had Squad 572 and additional Fire Police respond to an accident assisting the Refton Community Fire Company.
