At 12:16 pm, just after returning from the fire on Lancaster Pike, Engine 572, Squad 571, Squad 572 and Bart Township Engine 51-1 (covering Rescue 57 which is out of service) responded to Rt. 472 and Bartville Road in Colerain Township for a commercial vehicle accident. LCWC reported a dump truck into a box truck. QFD units arrived finding the report was correct, fortunately with no injuries. QFD Fire Police ran one lane of traffic around the scene while the crews from Engine 572 and Squad 571 completed spill control.
Null’s Towing responded to remove the vehicles opening the roadway completely by 1:45 pm.
