At 11 am, QFD and LEMSA responded to a vehicle accident with entrapment at May Post Office Road and Rt.372 in Eden Township. Units arrived with a serious accident with 2 patients, one pinned. The crews stabilized, did a two-door-swing, cut roof posts and lifted the dash to free the trapped occupant in 19 minutes from arrival.
QFD and Bart Township Fire Police assisted with traffic control and detours. Crews remained on the scene in the 90 degree heat until 12:45 pm. Great work to all involved.
