Hoffer Jr.nbsp Doug was killed in a traffic accident on Saturday afternoon in Washington Township Franklin County PA.nbsp Doug and his girlfriend and 3 other people were killed in this tragic accident.ppDoug or Picadilly asnbspwe called him joined the Quarryville Fire Company in March 2001.nbsp Doug became a very active and dedicated member of the QFD contributing 100 all of the time.nbsp Doug was a QFD Lieutenant for 1 12 years in 20082009.nbsp Dougs true fire service passion was driving.nbsp Doug trained on and became very proficient with all QFD apparatus and was a very active driver for several years.nbsp Doug always had a smile on his face and a kind word to say to everyone.nbspppPlease keep the Hoffer Family in your thoughts and prayers.nbsp Doug leaves behind two children under the age of 11.ppDoug will truly be missed by the entire community especially those of us here at Quarryville Fire Company.nbsp Doug has been a positive influence on all of us and we will always remember him.p
