Just after 2 pm Wednesday, QFD and LEMSA were alerted for a vehicle accident with entrapment in the 200 block of Scotland Road in East Drumore Township. Additional information reported a skid loader overturned with a person trapped (making it a farm rescue).
Rescue 57 and Engine 572 crews stabilized the machinery as EMS confirmed that the person was not pinned or crushed, just in a position that they could not get out. A simple high-point was created with a roof ladder and the person was removed by lifting with webbing. The crews then concentrated on handling a significant fuel spill while QFD Fire Police handled scene access and traffic control.
Luckily, the victim was not injured and was able to return home. Nice work by all involved. Thanks to Tom Amico for the photos
