At 10:45 Wednesday night, QFD was dispatched to the 300 block of Maple Shade Road in Colerain Township for a chimney fire. Units arrived with a working chimney fire, and after cleaning out the fire box and containing the fire in the flue, some minor extension was found in the ceiling and floor. The area was opened up and extinguished. The volunteers were in service for 1 hour.
