At 10:41 am Sunday, after an early morning fire police call and a wires down incident, QFD was alerted to a mulch pile fire at Frey’s Mulch on Puseyville Road in East Drumore Township. Units arrived with a fire in a large mulch pile and began extinguishment. Tankers from @Bart Township Fire Company and @Robert Fulton Fire Company assisted with water supply.
Extensive overhaul was completed using heavy equipment. Normally, this type of incident is handled on-site, but their normal water supply is limited due to maintenance.
The Company was in service just over 2 hours. Engine 572, 574, Brush 57, Tanker 57, Truck 57, Squads 571, 572 and QFD Fire Police responded.
