pWith several days of rainfall already in the ground the Solanco area received another round of rain on Wednesday raising streams and ponding water on the roadways and in basements. The area received around 5 inches of rain throughout Wednesday. QFD members responded to 5 incidents during the day including a medical assist investigation residential flooding and two reported water rescues.ppJust before midnight QFD Robert Fulton FC Rawlinsville FC and LEMSA were dispatched to the fist block of Mt. Eden Road for a vehicle in high water with a person trapped. The incident ended up being in the Bart Township FC district right on the LancasterChester County Line. This added Bart Township FC and Union FC to the response. On arrival crews found a tow truck with fast moving flood water up past the bumpers with a male standing on the bed of the truck. Boats were attempted to be placed in service but an area of shallow water did not allow for them to launch. As the incident wore on the water began to recede allowing water rescue members from 89 and 58 to access the victim and walk them to safety to the Chester County Side. QFD units cleared the scene just before 2 am.ppPlease do not drive into any high or flowing water.p
