On Tuesday evening just as the Company meeting was finishing new business, QFD was alerted to assist the Rawlinsville Fire Company on a vehicle accident with entrapment at Rt. 272 and Scotland Road in Drumore Township. Additional information indicated a tractor trailer into a pickup truck and multiple other vehicles with a possible fire.
Deputy 58 arrived and confirmed entrapment. Rescue 57, Engine 572 and 574 arrived and assisted with the extrication of a patient in a pickup truck with the hydraulic and battery operated rescue tools.
QFD Fire Police with Squad 572 assisted with traffic and scene control, and as of 10:30 pm, were still on scene.
