At 6:47 pm Saturday evening, QFD, Bart Township FC and Union FC were dispatched to 841 Kirkwood Pike in Colerain Township for a dwelling fire. Engine 574 laid 1,100 feet of 4″ supply line in the lane and stretched one line to the interior where a small amount of fire was found around the chimney. Truck 57 went to the roof and extinguished the fire in the chimney.
The incident was placed under control quickly and held to 57 and 51 for overhaul and cleanup. The company was in service for just over 1 hour.
