At 10:30 am Sunday, Truck 57 with a crew of 5 responded to assist York County Airville FC on a house fire on River Toad in Lower Chanceford Township. Units arrived to find a fire that was most likely caused by an electrical issue. A tree had fallen on and brought down wires.
The Truck crew had to take ladders and tools through the woods around the hot wires, and assisted in the 1st floor and basement containing the fire in the floor area. Once the power was disconnected, final overhaul was completed.
The Truck was in service 2 hours. Thanks to Tom
