On Tuesday June 15th, the bridge on South Lime Street (Rt. 472) between East Second Street and Park Avenue will be closed for replacement. It will not be passable.
If you are a QFD Firefighter or a mutual aid company, to use Rt. 472 to go South from Quarryville, you will have to utilize South Hess Street to Park Avenue to Rt. 472. If you are coming North, you will have to turn left onto Park Avenue then right onto S. Hess Street.
This project is slated to be completed sometime around the end of summer.
